Natural circulation type solar water heater
Theory
Cold water reduces in density and weight and rises naturally into the water tank as it is heated up by solar collectors. The cold water at the bottom of the water tank are greater in density and weight, so it naturally sinks down into the solar collectors where it absorbs heat again. This is called "Natural Circulation Type"
Advantages
1.The designed systems is simple and durable, no extra electricity is needed.
2.Controlling element is not required.
The system will stay functional as long as glass and water clog are cleaned regularly.
Applications
Most suitable for residential use, also applicable for hotel, dorm, etc.

Enforced circulation type solar water heater
Theory
When the water in the solar collector is 3℃ warmer than the water in the tank, the pump delivers cold water from the water tank to the solar collectors for heating. Same water will be returned to the water tank after heating up. This is called "Enforced Circulation Type"
Advantages
Suitable for Large hot water system.
Disadvantages
1.Extra power is needed for circulation and it consumes more electricity.
2.Equipped with temperature controller, motor, pump, extra pipings and extra plugs.
3.Complicated spare parts and require professional maintenance. Otherwise, it could easily cause malfuntion.
Applications
Suitable for large hot water system (over 10 tons water/day ) such as pre-heating system for industrial use, swimming pool etc.
